No, it is not a gluten free product. Whole wheat has more fibre than refined wheat and has a better nutritional profile. Wheraes gluten free flours used other starches like corn, potato, arrow root, etc as substitutes for wheat and these products do not necessarily have the same nutritional profile and different taste.
Yes, due to age known issues many people avoid eating chewy foods, but Gehu Bhakri's speciality is that is the softest flatbread, so senior citizens or anyone on soft food diet can consume Bhakri safely. Gehu Bhakri has its own unique taste and since its made of pure whole wheat it can be consumed by itself as a wholesome meal, often required by senior citizens.
