What is Gehu bhakri?Its an Indian type of flatbread made up of pure whole wheat. Whole wheat flour is a healthier option than all purpose flour therefore making our bhakri an indulgent and tasty alternative to available frozen parathas.

How to store Gehu Bhakri paratha?No chemical preservatives are added to it as the making process and raw food material used in it is sufficient to preserve it, therefore it needs to be kept refrigerated all the time. You can use less quanity at a time and keep rest of them refrigerated. Do not put it in freezer.

How to use it?You need to reheat the paratha in pan or oven accordingly. It is fully cooked so you can directly eat it as well.

Is it fully cooked?Yes it is a fully cooked, ready to eat bread. You just need to open the packet and set aside only the quantity you need to eat. You can zip lock the bag again and keep the remaining refrigerated.

How long does the Gehu bhakri last in fridge?It's shelf life is for two months if kept well refrigerated. Once the packet is opened always set aside the quantity to be used and keep rest of them refrigerated, this way our bhakri can be used for weeks.

Do you use palm oil or trans fats to make it softer?No we do not use hydrogenated palm oil or trans fats as these ingredients used in frozen items may cause harm in long term. Also adding these ingredients just not serve our purpose to provide you with a home made taste, so we highly take care of the materials we use to make it.

Is Gehu Bhakri gluten-free?No, it is not a gluten free product. Whole wheat has more fibre than refined wheat and has a better nutritional profile. Wheraes gluten free flours used other starches like corn, potato, arrow root, etc as substitutes for wheat and these products do not necessarily have the same nutritional profile and different taste.

Can we include Bhakri in low sodium diet?Yes, Gehu Bhakri can be consumed in low sodium diet as it has salt in regulated amount and no other sodium preservatives are added in it.

Is it safe for toddlers?It is absolutely safe for toddlers to consume. It is soft to eat, so you can mash it easily with milk and other baby food items. We recommend heating it with ghee instead of oil when you intend to prepare it for kids.

Can Seniors eat Gehu Bhakri?Yes, due to age known issues many people avoid eating chewy foods, but Gehu Bhakri's speciality is that is the softest flatbread, so senior citizens or anyone on soft food diet can consume Bhakri safely. Gehu Bhakri has its own unique taste and since its made of pure whole wheat it can be consumed by itself as a wholesome meal, often required by senior citizens.
